True Stories - Tales of Ordinary Madness

Short Fuse Brighton presents its first ever non-fiction night. They already have a line-up of bravely honest and observational tales from local writers willing to expose their underbellies. The deadline for submissions is 20 May and there are two or three slots left (depending on the length of the story) so if you have a true tale to tell with a unique perspective (funny, shocking or poignant) please send it to them.

They are open to submissions for Sunday 5 July which is an unthemed event, and are also calling for stories from people living in the Hastings/St Leonards area.

Stories should be between 50 and 3,000 words.

Future events

There will be no Short Fuse in August but September's event will have the theme 'Politico'. Submission are invited of stories with a political or sociopolitical nature. The deadline for submissions is 20 July.
